No, not in the same manner! Tiger/Leopard does crash occasionally, but it is always fixed with a simple force quit(cmnd+opt+esc) or a force shut down(holding down the power button for 8 seconds)! A kernel panic in the Mac OS is VERY rare, and if it does, it doesn’t KILL the computer! You can still SAVE your data to an external drive. Then, just take it to an Apple Store and they will wipe your drive and reinstall the OS. (for FREE)

That’s bullshit. I had a kernal panic and had to spend $200 to get a stupid DVD with my files…THEN spend another $4000 for a new Macbook Pro. And the “geniuses” didn’t even help, I had to take it to an outside Mac repair shop. Mac’s plain sucks. My Vista computer on the other hand NEVER crashed.

@MasterChiefAgent007 - I had Vista and it was crap in my opinion. Just because you’re fine with it, doesn’t mean everyone will feel the same.
After a year of using Vista I switched to Mac. It’s so much easier to use. If you’ve never used a Mac then you have no idea.
